Throughout my own personal journey, I have encountered many of the difficulties that so many individuals face on a daily basis. I will use my own personal stories and stories that I have learned along the way to teach participants key components of self-discovery (Sacrifice, Work Ethic, Adversity, Greatness, Leadership, Investment, Failure, and Empowerment). Over the last decade, I have been an educator in the Greater Houston Area. Through my time in the classroom, I have been able to develop a phenomenal skillset of motivating teens and young adults. Similar to the above Certified For Greatness Program I will use a mix of my own personal stories and stories from athletes, entertainers, and leaders to help kids address issues such as (bullying, racism, drug abuse, social-media use, self-love, peer pressure, academics, and family life). During the program, I use a mix of music, comedy, and speech to give kids a different approach to learning and to give them an out to be able to talk about issues that might be holding back their academic performance. Teaching is and always will be my life’s passion. Being a teacher is what gave me the solid foundation into becoming the successful motivational speaker that I am today. That is why I have developed a special staff development aimed toward the educator. Teaching For Greatness is a program aimed at not only helping teachers motivate their students, but also is aimed at having teachers reflect on who they are as educators. During the program, I will address issues such as (burn-out, work-family balance, the importance of the educator, and etc.). I will use a combination of music, comedy, and real-talk to give educators the fuel that they need to stand up in front of a classroom and deliver every day for their students.
